Inspired by Jenn Im
I just watched some of Jenn Im’s Youtube videos and I felt motivated and inspired to re-evaluate certain things like my productivity, gratitude, essence of life, well-being, and things like that. Albeit rewarding, having a second child has ripped off so much off me. I have been less productive, I feel incapable, my emotions are in a mess and nothing feels right anymore. I have had the hardest time and I don’t believe it is just a phase. The difficulty of things just fluctuates from time to time but it will still be difficult.
I learnt a few things and had some inspiration from the 2 hours I spent watching those videos. I will list it down but I am not going to elaborate on each point.
• Homework For Life — to note down something worth remembering every day in the form of short stories.
• Cook more — and cook healthier meals
• Move my body — incorporate some form of exercise or stretching in my daily life
• Meditate
• Take care of my skin
• Make more memories — take more photos and videos of my day-to-day activities
• Edit my videos and start a monthly video summary; maybe I should upload these videos on Youtube
• Gratitude — be thankful for all the littlest things
• Blog more — be it on the main or my personal WordPress
• Take note of the various things I learn
• Increase my vocabulary
• Do 30 minutes of reading as much as possible
• View the time in chunks of 15 minutes to increase productivity
• Document my bad days to stay human
• Work on my prayers
I hope that even when I have days where I fail to do any of the above, I will have the determination to keep going and move along. I, of all people, should understand that bad days exist and it is okay to just ride the wave. Perhaps I’ll do a review one month later.
